The David Harold Tribe Poetry Award is open until October 14, 2018.
The award provides poets with funds that might enable them to further their education in the field of poetry, to continue to refine their work as poets, and to improve the general public’s appreciation of Australian poetry.
There’s a cash prize of $12,000 for the best original poem of up to 100 lines submitted to the Department of English. The winning poem will be published in Southerly.
Judges: Kate Lilley, Pam Brown and Keri Glastonbury.
Submit an original, previously unpublished poem, of up to 100 lines, completed not earlier than three years before the closing date.
Entrants must Australia residents for a minimum of four years.
Free to enter. One entry per poet.
