KSP Poetry Competition

The KSP Poetry Competition is open until September 21, 2018.

Open to Australian residents and citizens.

Competition Judge: Tracy Ryan

Submit up to 50 lines in the Open category. It costs $10 to enter, 2 for $15, 3 for $20.

First prize is $300, a residency at KSP Writers’ Centre and a certificate. Second prize is $150 and a certificate. Highly commended prizes: certificate.

Submit up to 50 lines in the Youth category (12-18 years). Free to enter. First prize is $100 and a certificate. Second is $50 and a certificate. Highly commended is $10 and a certificate.

There’s also the Mundaring National Young Writers Encouragement Award for under 14s. The winner will receive $25.

Finally, there’s the Annette Cameron Encouragment Award. The Annette Cameron Encouragement Award is for WA-born or current WA residents over the age of 18 who have never published a full collection of poetry either in print or online. Submit up to 50 lines. Entry Fee: $10, 2 for $15, 3 for $20. First prize is $100.

All winning entries will be offered publication in Swan Magazine.
