The Aesthetica Creative Writing Award Entry for Poetry is open.

Submission Guidelines

  • Poetry entries should be no more than 40 lines.
  • Works published or entered elsewhere are accepted.
  • Accepting works on any theme.
  • Enter the Award as many times as you wish, although each work requires a fee and new submission form.
  • Please consider that the size of the Creative Writing Annual will be A5.

Judges: Some of the UK’s most renowned editors and publishers, and has included representatives from the Guardian, the Independent, Wasafiri, Hodder & Stoughton, Litro, The Rialto, The Poetry Exchange and Jacaranda Books

Entry fee: £12

Prizes:

  • (£2,500 for the Poetry Winner, £2,500 for the Short Fiction Winner)
  • Publication in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual
