Bardsy’s 2025 Fall First Chapter Anthology Contest is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines

Entries must be original, in English, and between 1,500 – 2,500 words.

Disclosures: Failure to respond to our emails removes your entry from our queue. Please contact Bardsy if you don’t receive the anticipated email/contact. Most likely, there’s an address or spam problem.

Note: They judge entries on a rolling basis; the process for entries with strong potential will be accelerated.
Entry fee: $25 – Each entry receives directed feedback using their Publishability Index tool and the opportunity to resubmit revisions for their chapter before judging.
Prizes:
- A $1,000 cash prize for the Grand Prize Winner, $50 cash prizes for the Finalists.
- Both the winner/finalists receive publication in Bardsy’s Fall Anthology.

- 12/5/25 – Contest Entry Deadline
- 12/12/25 – Revisions Due
- 12/21/25 – Winner & Finalists are Announced/Published!
