Raelee holds a Master of Arts (Writing) from the University of New England and has been teaching creative writing and editing workshops since 2015 for a range of organisations, including community centres, NGOs, writing groups, women’s shelters and a prison school. She enjoys working with writers of all levels. She is skilled at providing both structural and sentence-level feedback across a range of genres.
Her short stories have been published in Griffith Review, Overland, Southerly,
Westerly, Mascara Literary Review, Singapore Love Stories, and Best Australian Stories 2017. Her nonfiction work has appeared in several online and print publications in Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Raelee has travelled extensively and lived overseas in China and Singapore for more than a decade. She now resides in Canberra with her family and rescue greyhound.

The second lesson will teach you how to plan and research your travel writing. You will learn how to create tension in your travel writing and how to generate ideas.
Lesson 3: Travel Articles
The third lesson will teach you how to write travel articles for a research or blog. You will learn how to keep readers engaged with your travel writing online and where to publish your travel articles.
Lesson 4: Memoir
The fourth lesson will teach you how to write about travel in a memoir. You will learn how to make your travel writing more personal and how to write about other people in your travel writing.
Lesson 5: Travel Fiction and Poetry
The fifth lesson will teach you how to combine travel writing with fiction. You will learn how to write about fictional places in the style of travel writing, as well as how to write travel poetry.
Lesson 6: Publishing and Editing
The sixth lesson will teach you how to edit and publish your travel writing. You will learn how to proofread and copy edit and how to contact literary agents.
